Job Description
1. Production Planning and Management:
o Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and company targets.
o Monitor production activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
o Optimize resource utilization including labor materials and machinery.
2. Team Leadership:
o Supervise and manage production teams including supervisors operators and technicians.
o Provide coaching training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
o Foster a positive and safetyfocused work environment.
3. Quality Assurance:
o Ensure all production processes comply with quality standards and customer specifications.
o Collaborate with the quality control team to address any defects or deviations.
o Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to maintain high product quality.
4. Continuous Improvement:
o Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency reduce costs and minimize waste.
o Implement lean manufacturing practices and process improvement initiatives.
o Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technologies.
5. Safety and Compliance:
o Enforce adherence to health safety and environmental regulations.
o Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.
o Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
6. Collaboration and Reporting:
o Work closely with engineering procurement and logistics teams to ensure smooth production flow.
o Prepare and present production reports KPIs and performance analysis to senior management.
o Address production challenges promptly and develop solutions to minimize downtime.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
7 years of experience in production management preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes equipment and quality systems.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.
Excellent leadership problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
