Job Description
Position: Chief Accountant Company Overview: PILLARS is a leading construction company that specializes in building highquality sustainable structures. Our company is dedicated to providing innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients. Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. As the Chief Accountant you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations Prepare and analyze financial statements budgets and forecasts Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information Train and supervise accounting staff ensuring their adherence to company policies and procedures Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations and standards Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors and tax advisors Participate in strategic planning and decisionmaking processes to help drive the companys growth and profitability Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field CPA or other relevant certification is preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in a seniorlevel accounting role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations Proven experience managing and leading a team Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Attention to detail and accuracy Experience in the construction industry is a plus We offer competitive salary and benefits packages as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
