Key Responsibilities
- Support underwriters with administrative tasks such as preparing renewal invitations policy documentation and updating client information.
- Prepopulate rating models and assist in drafting policy terms and conditions.
- Import and process renewal terms and input new business opportunities into underwriting systems.
- Finalise policy documents including invoices certificates and policy wordings.
- Ensure compliance with underwriting processes including AntiMoney Laundering (AML) requirements and maintain accurate records.
- Keep underwriting claims registers uptodate ensuring timely and accurate information.
- Respond to broker inquiries related to underwriting providing certificates claims histories and other requested details.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Previous experience in the insurance industry preferably in underwriting is essential.
- Tier 1 and 2 qualifications are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; advanced IT skills are advantageous.
