Your scope and daily tasks
- Plan monitor and evaluate electrochemical experiments and measurement campaigns
- Perform electrochemical measurements including 3electrode setups cyclic voltammetry (CV) electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and singlecell measurements
- Ensure safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals such as acids and bases
- Support German and Europeanfunded research projects by coordinating project activities contributing to grant writing and ensuring project milestones are met
- Develop technical content and document analyze and present results to internal and external stakeholders
Your profile
- University degree in electrochemistry materials science electrical engineering or a related field
- Previous experience in research projects ideally involving electrochemical or hydrogen production technologies
- Strong background in electrochemical techniques especially related to alkaline water electrolysis
- Proficiency in electrochemical measurement methods including CV EIS and singlecell testing
- Experience with the safe handling of chemicals (e.g. acids bases) in a laboratory environment
- Familiarity with European and Germanfunded project requirements and processes
- Ability to process and interpret complex data and a good command of data analysis software (e.g. Python MATLAB or equivalent)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills especially in an intercultural environment
- Fluent in written and spoken English and German
