Your mission

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless deployment operation and scaling of applications written in Ruby Elixir Node.js and Python.
• Ensure compliance with privacy and security requirements and enable us to demonstrate industry standards by appropriately embedding compliance into infrastructure and processes.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure as code.
• Stay uptodate with advancements in cloud infrastructure security cost optimization and DevOps practices ensuring BetterDocs platform remains efficient and effective.
• Transition our applications towards an event driven architecture
• Develop and enforce security best practices for applications and infrastructure including identity and access management network security and encryption.
• Analyze and optimize AWS usage and costs implementing strategies to reduce expenses while maintaining performance and reliability.
• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure compliance processes cost management and operational guidelines.
• Monitor and manage our environments by integrating telemetry and observability into the platform. Maintain best practices around notifications and response processes.
• Implement DevOps infrastructure components and best practices. Deploy CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.

Development Opportunities

• Lead and mentor 12 (junior) engineers supporting their professional growth and technical skills.

Your profile

• Bachelor or masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience in software engineering
• Minimum of 2 years experience in cloud platform and infrastructure projects
• Experience operating/maintaining Cloud solutions in Enterprise environments
• Experience in designing deploying and managing AWSbased cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python Ruby or Javascript
• Proficiency in Linux
• Experience in building highly available scalable distributed systems in a Microservices based architecture
• A solid grasp of development automation and monitoring tools and practices. With the tools that include Terraform Grafana Bash GitHub Actions.
• Handson experience with Infrastructure as Code GitOps CI/CD
• Working knowledge of Containerization network protocols encryption and security.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes including setup configuration and optimization.
• Familiarity with working in an agile environment.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and the ability to implement robust security measures.
• Selfmotivated with a continuous improvement mindset passionate about delivering value through technology.

The senior citizen has been experiencing leg and foot pain while walking for several years. Her previous doctor diagnosed peripheral arterial occlusive disease in both legs. The patient underwent surgery to insert stents but only achieved slight improvement.

Unhappy with the results of the operation and her overall health situation the 74yearold sought the expertise recommended by BetterDoc. The specialist thoroughly examines the senior citizen and suggests that circulatory problems may be due to a narrowing of an abdominal artery. Consequently he refers her to a hospital for further investigation. An angiography is conducted confirming the specialists suspicions: the patient indeed has a severe narrowing of an abdominal artery causing the pain in her legs.

This issue can be addressed through surgery offering a causal treatment for the patients pain.
