As a Senior Night Care Practitioner your responsibilities will include:

• Completing required training and development programs
• Providing personal care assisting with daily activities and supporting residents with their individual needs
• Offering emotional support and companionship
• Ensuring residents lead enriched fulfilling lives based on their personal interests and abilities
• Maintaining high care standards throughout the home
• Supervisory duties to support the Home Manager including staff supervision appraisals recordkeeping liaising with external professionals and assisting with recruitment.

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.

What We Are Looking For:

• Leadership or supervisory experience in a residential or nursing home environment
• A warm positive personality with a genuine desire to care for others
• A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or a willingness to work towards one
• Confidence in recordkeeping and the use of technology
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and provide guidance to your team
• Flexibility in working night shifts based on the needs of the residents
