Senior Ecologist

What will a day in this role look like:

• Build an advanced ecological technical practice supporting diverse projects and our clients biggest challenges
• Manage technical teams to deliver field investigations impact assessment and mitigation design
• Responsible for outstanding client service through riskbased strategic advice and highquality technical reporting
• Implement efficiencies and digital solutions to collaborate and work smarter
• Drive strategic growth technical excellence and innovation in ecological assessments and management planning for projects in transport water security energy and futurefuels sectors.

Qualifications :

What are we looking for from you

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired but if you dont tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply all applications will be considered.  

• Proven knowledge in fauna flora ecological communities and ecosystems with a focus on Queensland regions like the Brigalow Belt North Queensland and SEQ Bioregions.
• Ability to lead project delivery engage with clients and mentor a highperforming sustainabilityfocused team across field and officebased work.
• Strong experience in navigating State and Commonwealth environmental approval processes and delivering strategic assessments.
• Proficiency in tools like GIS remote sensing and digital solutions to enhance project efficiency and tackle client challenges.
• Over 10 years of ecological experience a relevant degree and a valid Class C drivers license (4WD experience preferred).
