Job Description
As a Collections Representative you will engage with borrowers to understand their circumstances and collaboratively develop effective resolutions. This role demands excellent communication skills empathy and a proactive mindset to address challenges. You ll play a pivotal role in fostering positive borrower relationships while meeting performance targets and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (EST) Weekends Off
Work Setup: Onsite Bogot and Medellin
Your Daily Tasks
- Contact borrowers with overdue accounts through phone email and other communication channels.
- Discuss payment options and negotiate resolutions that balance borrower needs with company objectives.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when addressing borrower concerns and challenges.
- Record detailed and accurate notes on borrower interactions and outcomes in the system.
- Meet or exceed individual and team performance targets including recovery rates and call quality.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to share best practices and improve processes.
- Stay updated on and comply with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements related to collections.
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (required).
- Prior experience in collections customer service or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle challenging conversations with professionalism.
- Empathetic and customerfocused approach to problemsolving.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fastpaced targetdriven environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in standard office software and CRM tools is a plus.
