Currently Labhya has partnered with the Governments of Delhi Uttarakhand Tripura to cocreate and ensure the implementation of programs that impact 2.4 Million children across 22000 government schools in India daily. These socialemotional learning programs are the worlds largest and Indias first atscale wellbeing programs.
Role Expectations and Qualifications & Skills / Experience / Characteristics *All the belowmentioned tasks would be key to your role. The following requirements are not mentioned in order of priority.
1. Budgeting and Expense Allocation:
Develop and manage budgets ensuring allocation of expenses aligns with projectspecific donor requirements.
Prepare and submit quarterly and annual reports for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) to donor partners.
2. Fund Management and Donor Relations:
Track fund flows to ensure the receipt of funds according to signed commitments. Maintain effective working relationships with donor financial representatives or points of contact.
3. Contract and Agreement Oversight:
Draft review and manage vendor contracts grant agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).
4. Audit and Compliance:
Facilitate smooth completion of annual audits and periodic audit visits.
Ensure timely filings with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) Income Tax FCRA and any other emerging regulatory requirements.
Maintain updated knowledge of relevant compliance requirements including RoC FCRA CSR Act and any new regulations affecting nonprofit operations.
5. Financial Policies and Internal Controls:
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal financial controls for efficient finance operations.
Draft update and amend finance policies as necessary to ensure better and effective operational standards.
6. Support for Fundraising Initiatives:
Assist the fundraising team in preparing grant applications and other financial documentation for potential donors.
7. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Develop interactive financial dashboards for easy access to compliance and financial health information.
Analyse financial data to assess trends and provide toplevel management with strategic recommendations to support organisational stability and growth.
8. Payroll and Staff Compliance:
Oversee payroll processing leave tracking reimbursements and related compliance activities including TDS ESI EPF Professional Tax and Shop & Establishment requirements.
9. Vendor Payments and SOP Management:
Establish a robust SOP to maintain a healthy payment cycle with vendors ensuring timely processing and documentation.
10. Board and Governance Support:
Coordinate board meetings ensure timely recording of meeting minutes and facilitate compliancerelated actions.
11. Banking and Financial Operations Management:
Oversee banking operations to support smooth transaction processing and financial integrity.
