Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop implement and maintain comprehensive HR policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance and best practices
  • Oversee fullcycle recruitment process including job posting candidate screening interviewing and selection
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the organization
  • Foster positive employee relations through effective communication conflict resolution and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations
  • Administer and oversee employee benefits programs including health insurance retirement plans and paid time off
  • Develop and implement employee training and development programs to enhance skills and promote career growth
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide guidance on performance improvement plans
  • Manage the organizations compensation strategy including salary structures and pay equity
  • Oversee the maintenance of employee records and HRIS database
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead diversity equity and inclusion efforts to foster an inclusive workplace culture
  • Manage employee exit processes including conducting exit interviews and analyzing turnover data
  • Serve as a key advisor to management on HRrelated issues and best practices
  • Develop and monitor HR budget ensuring costeffective management of resources

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field; Masters degree preferred
  • 35 years of progressive experience in HR management ideally in a nonprofit or social enterprise setting
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Certification such as SHRMCP or PHR preferred
  • Familiarity with diversity equity and inclusion best practices
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with performance management and employee development programs
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
