Job Description

Key responsibilities may include: 

  • Channel Management: 
  • Managing relationships with key online travel agencies (OTAs) and Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to ensure accurate room availability and pricing.
  • Implementing and maintaining channel management systems to synchronize room inventory across all distribution channels. 
  • Monitoring and optimizing channel mix to maximize revenue across different platforms. 
  • Pricing Strategy: 
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor pricing to develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies on various channels. 
  • Managing room inventory allocation across different booking channels to optimize yield. 
  • Implementing revenue management tools and techniques to maximize revenue potential. 
  • Website Distribution: 
  • Managing the online booking engine on the Minor Hotel brand websites ensuring seamless user experience and optimal conversion rates. 
  • Optimizing website content and functionality to drive direct bookings.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: 
  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as booking volume conversion rates and average daily rate (ADR) across all distribution channels. 
  • Generating comprehensive reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Analyzing data to inform strategic decisions regarding distribution channels and pricing strategies. 
  • Marketing and Promotions: 
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute online marketing campaigns to drive bookings through various channels. 
  • Managing online promotional codes and packages to maximize revenue. 
  • Technical Expertise: 
  • Staying updated on the latest edistribution technologies and industry trends. 
  • Troubleshooting technical issues related to channel management systems and online booking platforms. 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field 
  • Proven experience in hotel edistribution revenue management and channel management 
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders 
  • Expertise in using channel management systems and online booking platforms 
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and industry best practices 
  • Fluency in English with additional language skills preferred 

Qualifications :

  • At least Bachelors Degree in any related filed.
  • Experience in online marketing roles in the hotel or travel industry.
  • Very good written & verbal English is essential.
  • Good understating of Search Engine Optimization and Payperclicks tactics.
  • Experience in using Content Management Systems.
  • Proficient analytical web skills and ability to analyze website performance data (i.e. financial statistical and /or performance).
  • Strong analytical skills are a must. Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met.
