JOB SUMMARY
The Medical Director will oversee clinical operations to ensure high standards in medical aesthetics guiding and supporting the clinical team developing personalized treatment protocols and fostering a collaborative environment focused on patient safety and satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Leadership
Lead and oversee clinical operations ensuring the highest standards of patient care in medical aesthetics.
Work in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer to create and enforce clinical protocols policies and procedures tailored to aesthetic treatments.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of aesthetic services and patient outcomes.
Consistently achieve satisfactory scores on annual audits through stringent adherence to procedural reviews and clinical protocols.
Maintain ongoing training and ensure compliance with current aesthetic trends to provide stateoftheart treatments and uphold best practice.
PatientCentered Care
Provide compassionate care ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for clients.
Uphold highest standards of patient safety ethical practice and confidentiality.
Strive for optimal patient outcomes through personalized treatment plans and followup care.
Client Consultations
Clearly and effectively communicate treatment options procedures and potential outcomes.
Establish and maintain strong trustbased relationships with clients.
Customized Treatment Planning
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that guide clients through a personalized skincare journey aligning with their unique needs and goals.
Integrate aesthetic treatments with overall wellness strategies.
Perform cosmetic injections but not limited to neurotoxins (e.g. Botox Dysport) and dermal fillers (e.g. Juvederm Restylane) in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
Monitor treatment progress and make necessary adjustments for optimal results.
Stay informed about the latest advancements in cosmetic injectables and aesthetic medicine through ongoing education and training.
Leadership
Maintain effective communication and reporting with the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Operating Officer to ensure alignment on clinical and operational strategies.
Inspire lead and support the clinical team to achieve high standards of care
Mentor and train staff on latest techniques protocols and best practices.
Make informed and effective decisions regarding clinical operations and patient care.
Collaboration
Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers administrative staff and external partners.
Foster a collaborative environment encouraging open communication and mutual respect.
Communicate effectively with patients families and the community about aesthetic services.
Address and resolve clinical or operational issues promptly and effectively.
All other related reasonable duties and responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
In good standing with the College of Physicians Surgeons of BC (CPSBC).
Board Certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty preferred (e.g. dermatology plastic surgery facial plastic surgery).
Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients.
Preferred 1 year of experience in the aesthetics field.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that achieve client satisfaction.
