Job Description
- Solution Design & Vendor Selection:
- Design technology solutions that meet CDLE s goals evaluate vendors and assist in the RFP process.
- System Integration Strategy:
- Develop integration plans for seamless data flow and coordinate with vendors and partners.
- Information Security:
- Advise on security strategies risk assessments and compliance with state and federal cybersecurity standards.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure technology systems comply with relevant laws and regulations and support audits and reviews.
- Technology Governance:
- Recommend governance frameworks participate in steering committees and ensure technology aligns with departmental goals.
- Technology Roadmap:
- Develop a technology roadmap aligned with CDLE s longterm strategy focusing on emerging trends.
- Project Oversight:
- Provide guidance on major projects monitor progress and ensure timely budgetcompliant delivery.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders and maintain relationships with vendors and partners.
- Capacity Building:
- Recommend training and knowledgesharing strategies to enhance staff s technological skills.
- 15 years in technology consulting or advisory roles with 10 years in a senior position.
- 5 years of experience in unemployment insurance with a state department of labor.
- Strong knowledge of solution architecture IT security and system integration.
- Expertise in state and federal regulations for government systems.
- Leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
