Job Description

Overview

The Compliance and Risk Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization meets its regulatory obligations and manages its risk exposure effectively. This position is crucial for identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them. The specialist will leverage tools such as Bridger AML frameworks and OneTrust to monitor compliance and facilitate risk assessments. By driving adherence to regulatory requirements this role not only protects the organization from potential penalties but also upholds its reputation in the industry. Moreover the specialist will work closely with various departments to foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness. This position demands a proactive mind and the ability to translate complex regulations into operational practices. Candidates should have a deep understanding of both compliance and risk management processes along with a strong analytical skill set.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular compliance audits to ensure adherence to AML regulations.
  • Implement and maintain Bridger and OneTrust systems for effective risk management.
  • Evaluate new regulations and assess their impact on organizational policies.
  • Monitor and analyze transaction patterns to identify suspicious activities.
  • Prepare detailed reports for regulatory submissions and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to address compliancerelated issues.
  • Gather and analyze risk data to inform decisionmaking processes.
  • Create and update compliance policies and procedures as needed.
  • Maintain documentation for compliance activities and risk assessments.
  • Conduct due diligence for highrisk clients and transactions.
  • Assist in investigations of potential compliance breaches or fraud.
  • Engage with external auditors during audits and examinations.
  • Provide ongoing support for compliancerelated inquiries from business units.
  • Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of the compliance program.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance Law or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in compliance or risk management.
  • Strong understanding of AML laws and regulations.
  • Experience with Bridger and OneTrust systems.
  • Certifications such as CAMS or CRCM are preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and compliance reporting tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in conducting compliance audits and assessments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in compliance and risk management.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret complex regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance software applications.
