Client: State of Texas HHSC

Location: Austin TX (Within TX)

Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of Cloud Solutions Architect 3 who meets the general qualifications of Cloud Solutions Architect 3

Cloud Solutions Architect use their technical knowledge of cloud services to design and implement scalable robust systems on the (AWS) cloud platform.

Expertise in operating system such as Red Hat Linux and Windows.

Required

Design and deploy scalable highly available and faulttolerant systems on AWS.

Required

Provide architectural guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

Required

Collaborate with the different technical and nontechnical teams to develop and implement robust cloud solutions.

Required

Select appropriate AWS services based on data compute database or security requirements.

Required

Handson experience designing distributed systems and applications on the AWS Cloud.

Required

Identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on cloud infrastructure.

Required

Assess the existing infrastructure and recommend modifications as necessary.

Required

Educate on architectural principles and best practices on various technical levels.

Required

Ensure solutions and infrastructures align with TIERS security standards.

Required

Lead technical and design discussions to help speed of new technologies and practices.

Required

Working knowledge of storage and backup solutions provided by AWS.

Required

Experience ITIL ticketing using Remedy and ServiceNow.

Required

Experience managing Archer GRC.

Required

Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addresses DNS TCP/IP and among other standard networking protocols.

Preferred

General knowledge of database software such are Oracle MSSQL Postgres etc.

Preferred

Knowledge of identity and access management as well as additional cybersecurity principles.

Preferred

Keep abreast of the newest cloud computing developments and work to improve the organizations cloud infrastructure.

AWS Solutions Architect Certification

Preferred
