Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Manage and prescribe medications treatments and therapies for various medical conditions
- Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret test results
- Collaborate with specialists and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Provide patient education and counseling on disease prevention and health promotion
- Document all patient encounters treatment plans and progress notes accurately
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research activities
- Supervise and mentor medical students residents and other healthcare staff
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in healthcare delivery
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate intervention as required
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
- Stay updated with the latest developments in general medicine and evidencebased practices
Required Qualifications:
- MD or DNB in General Medicine from a recognized institution
- Valid state medical license and board certification
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a diverse range of medical conditions
- Excellent clinical and decisionmaking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and collaborative healthcare environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems and healthcare documentation
- Sound understanding of medical ethics and patient confidentiality
- Capability to provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients
- Willingness to adhere to evidencebased guidelines and clinical protocols
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
- Experience with telemedicine or remote patient consultation is advantageous
- Knowledge of relevant medical laws regulations and standards of practice
