Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Manager to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth leading the sales team and executing sales strategies to achieve company targets. The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for managing key client relationships expanding the customer base and ensuring the sales process runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
- Lead mentor and manage a highperforming sales team providing coaching support and development opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance adjusting strategies as needed.
- Ensure team adherence to sales processes and best practices.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong longterm relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for highvalue clients ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Sales Pipeline Management:
- Oversee the sales pipeline ensuring timely followups and conversion of leads to customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and key markets for expansion.
- Forecast and report on sales performance and market trends.
- Negotiation and Closing Deals:
- Lead negotiations with prospective clients ensuring favorable terms and successful outcomes.
- Close highvalue deals and work towards achieving the sales targets consistently.
- Market Intelligence and Reporting:
- Stay updated on market trends competitor activity and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management detailing achievements challenges and market insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 3 years of sales experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior sales role.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing large sales teams.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and MS Office suite.
- Ability to think strategically and solve problems effectively.
- Experience in managing sales teams and coaching employees.
