Job Title: Junior QA Engineer
Location: Mumbai

Winvesta is seeking a motivated Junior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and collaboration with crossfunctional teams. As a Junior QA Engineer you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of software quality and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Perform different types of testing including Functional Testing Regression Testing Smoke Testing and Sanity Testing.
- Develop maintain and execute manual test cases and automation scripts using tools such as Selenium WebDriver.
- Conduct API Testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Report and track bugs using tools like Jira Trello or similar defect tracking systems.
- Participate in Agile development processes attending daily standups and contributing to sprint planning.
- Collaborate with the development team to address issues retest resolved bugs and ensure defects are effectively resolved.
- Execute tests across multiple platforms (Web iOS Android).
- Create detailed bug reports with severity and priority classifications and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain welldocumented test cases procedures and results to support ongoing quality assurance efforts.
- Work with crossfunctional teams including developers product managers and client teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 1.5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC STLC and various testing methodologies.
- Handson experience with manual testing and developing automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with API Testing using Postman or Swagger.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira Bugzilla or Trello.
- Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Good understanding of crossbrowser and mobile testing (iOS and Android).
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
- Knowledge of database testing and SQL for validating backend data.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools is a plus.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
