The opportunity
Were currently looking for an intern to join our Operationsteam. Someone who shares our passion for electric mobility thrives on problemsolving and is eager to contribute to creating seamless processes for the delivery of Polestar cars. In this role youll have the chance to engage with cuttingedge technology and collaborate in a fastpaced environment focused on sustainability and innovation.
As a member of the Operations team youll help ensure that every Polestar vehicle reaches our customers flawlessly with precision efficiency and dedication at the core of every process.
This 10month internshipposition is located in Milan Italy with an initial requirement to work from the office. We believe in striking a balance between inperson collaboration and focused individual work ensuring you have the time and support needed to excel.
The responsibilities
In this role youll be expected to contribute to key logistics activities and process optimisations. Working closely with the team youll be instrumental in ensuring operational excellence. Heres a snapshot of the tasks youll take on:
- Supporting the planning and monitoring of logistics activities related to the transportation and delivery of vehicles
- Assisting in managing the internal vehicle fleet including bodywork repairs and auditing tasks
- Analyzing and reporting data on delivery times operational performance and logistics costs
- Communicating with suppliers logistics partners and internal teams to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
- Contributing to the optimisation of vehicle delivery processes using dedicated software and tools
The ideal candidate
In order to succeed in this internship and at Polestar in general there are a few characteristics youll need to have: precision attention to detail curiosity and a collaborative spirit. You should be a proactive problemsolver who thrives in a dynamic environment and can communicate effectively with diverse teams.
Additionally the following qualifications are essential:
- A Bachelors degree (completed or in progress)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
- A good command of English and Italian both written and spoken
