Job Description
We are a dynamic startup building a CAD web application using React. As part of our commitment to delivering a highquality product we are looking for a proactive and detailoriented QA/QC Engineer. Initially you will focus on creating and maintaining endtoend tests using Playwright ensuring robust visual and functional testing. Over time your role will expand to include designing and implementing unit tests and a comprehensive testing strategy.
Tasks
- Develop and maintain endtoend tests using Playwright for functional and visual testing.
- Collaborate with developers to identify test requirements and create automated test scripts.
- Design and implement a comprehensive testing plan including unit integration and regression testing.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues uncovered during testing providing detailed feedback to the development team.
- Monitor and improve test coverage across the application.
- Establish testing best practices and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Support scalability and performance testing as the application grows.
- Regularly review and update test cases to align with new features and changes.
Requirements
Technical Skills:
Proven experience with automated testing frameworks (Playwright Selenium Cypress etc.).
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with Reactbased applications.
Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g. Jest Mocha).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating testing tools.
Familiarity with CAD tools or domain knowledge is a significant plus.
Background in performance and scalability testing.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with developers and other team members.
Ability to work in a fastpaced startup environment.
