Job Summary:As an Application Tech Support Practitioner specializing in Avamar Backup Administration you will provide ongoing support to clients by using your strong communication skills and deep product knowledge. You will be responsible for accurately diagnosing and resolving issues related to Avamar Backup systems ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Your role will include interfacing with clients collaborating with crossfunctional teams and staying uptodate with advancements in backup technologies to deliver the best possible solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:- Provide ongoing support for Avamar Backup Administration identifying and resolving client issues effectively.
- Interface with clients to ensure clear communication understand their needs and provide highquality technical assistance.
- Utilize your deep product knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues ensuring optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify process improvements and implement best practices for backup administration.
- Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in Avamar Backup Administration and integrate innovative approaches to improve performance and competitiveness.
- Design and implement effective solutions for backup and recovery ensuring systems are running smoothly.
- Contribute to the overall system optimization and continuous improvement of the backup processes.
- Experience in Avamar Backup Administration with expertise in backup processes and recovery operations.
- Strong understanding of backup and recovery concepts for enterpriselevel applications.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Python to automate tasks and manage backup processes.
GoodtoHave Skills:
- Knowledge of related backup technologies such as NetBackup Commvault or TSM.
- Familiarity with cloudbased backup solutions and integration with onpremise systems.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a highpressure environment.
- Collaborative mindset working well with crossfunctional teams to improve system reliability and performance.
- Completion of at least 15 years of fulltime education in a relevant field preferably in Computer Science or a related discipline.
