Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator Team Manager to lead and supervise our team of estimators. While familiarity with our specific scopes is beneficial we understand candidates may not have prior experience with them. Training will be provided to ensure familiarity with our processes as long as candidates bring a background in construction estimating. Experience in lumber or truss estimating is a valuable asset but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of estimators to ensure quality accuracy and timely delivery of estimates.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Quality Control:
- Oversee the accuracy and quality of all estimates.
- Coordinate regular checkins with U.S.based team members to validate scope requirements.
- Process Improvement:
- Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Performance Tracking:
- Monitor team performance metrics including estimating accuracy and turnaround times.
- Provide regular reports to support datadriven decisionmaking.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with U.S.based leadership to align on project priorities and client needs.
- Establish strong communication channels with geographically dispersed teams.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Degree in Construction Management Architecture Engineering or related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications in estimating or project management are a plus.
- Experience:
- Practical experience in construction estimating is required.
- Experience in lumber or truss estimating is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Proven experience managing a team ideally in a constructionrelated environment.
- Experience with process improvement and workflow standardization.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu is essential.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.
- Detailoriented with a commitment to maintaining highquality standards.
- Problemsolving skills and adaptability.
Additional Information:
- Location: Our estimators are currently located in the Philippines and Vietnam so experience managing geographically dispersed teams is beneficial.
- Reporting To: Vice President of Development.
