This is a remote position.
Coordination:
- Ensure smooth coordination among the Philippines team
- Facilitate effective communication between the Philippines team and the Asia team
Project Monitoring:
- Develop project plans and schedules
- Monitor deadlines and provide reminders for pending tasks
Project Development:
- Assist the Business Development team with stakeholder engagement (government authorities and potential offtakers) by reviewing presentations and participating in meetings as needed
- Oversee external studies including the preparation of Terms of Reference (ToR) Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Quotations (RFQ) as well as managing the bidding/procurement process and coordinating until studies are completed
- Manage permitting processes by identifying required permits preparing documentation and coordinating during the permitting process
- Conduct desk research on various topics relevant to HDF s business in the Philippines
Project Execution:
- Support the project team in HQ and Asia with the procurement/tender process for EPCC contractors in the Philippines
- Assist the project team in HQ and Asia during the construction phase of projects in the Philippines
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Project Management or Project Engineering preferably in the Independent Power Producer (IPP) and/or Power/Energy sector
- Experience in project development construction and operations is preferred
- Familiarity with working with electrical cooperatives the Department of Energy (DOE) and other relevant authorities in the power business in the Philippines is preferred
- Technical knowledge and/or experience in power plants would be an advantage but is not mandatory
- Highly organized and detailoriented

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
