Job Description

We are excited to collaborate closely with a school district located near the charming city of Cicero Illinois.
The SLP will join our team from January 2025 through April 2025 with the possibility of an extension. During this time you will evaluate students speech language and communication skills to identify areas of need. Delivering targeted therapy sessions either oneonone or in small groups you will focus on achieving specific communication objectives tailored to each student. You will develop customized treatment plans to address a range of speech and language challenges such as articulation fluency voice and comprehension issues. Actively participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings you will collaborate with team members to establish appropriate goals and interventions. By working closely with teachers parents and other professionals you will ensure that speech and language objectives are seamlessly integrated into students academic experiences and daily activities. Accurate recordkeeping of assessments therapy sessions progress updates and related documentation will be essential to meet all state and federal compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Maintain or be eligible to secure ASHA certification.
- Possess a Master s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Meet the qualifications to obtain or actively pursue an SLP license in the state of Illinois.
