In search of a passionate and talented Speech Therapist for the current school year.
As the SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) you will play a key role in supporting students communication needs and helping them achieve their full potential. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique challenges related to speech and language disorders.
Role Description:
- Collaborate closely with teachers parents and other educational team members to facilitate students academic and socialemotional growth.
- Record and track student progress meticulously maintaining precise records and preparing detailed reports for IEP meetings and administrative needs.
- Support the implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies and devices for students with complex communication needs.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to continually enhance skills and stay updated with advancements in the field of speechlanguage pathology.
Requirements
- Master s degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a hybrid schedule.
- Current North Carolina SLP licensures and ASHA certification (CCCSLP).
- Experience with inperson service delivery especially within a school setting.
- Knowledge of state and federal special education regulations particularly related to IEP development and implementation.
