Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and selfdriven professional to join us as EiR Sales (Entrepreneur in Residence).

This role will focus on driving growth and business development specifically in the MBA vertical. You will work closely with the founding team influencing strategic decisions enhancing sales performance and identifying opportunities for expansion. The role also involves creating benchmarks managing the entire sales funnel and developing detailed SOPs to streamline processes for the team. If you excel in the first three months you will have the opportunity to lead a team of Sales Associates driving efforts to scale the vertical effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Strategy & Execution:

    • Design and implement robust sales strategies targeting International MBA aspirants.

    • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline ensuring consistent lead conversion and customer acquisition.

  2. Business Development:

    • Forge partnerships with universities consultants and industry stakeholders to strengthen Yockets MBA product offerings.

    • Explore and establish collaborations with corporate entities for potential lead generation and brand visibility.

  3. Market Research & Insights:

    • Analyze trends in the global MBA education sector to identify growth opportunities.

    • Gather and interpret customer feedback to improve product and service offerings.

  4. Operational Excellence:

    • Collaborate with marketing product and operations teams to ensure alignment with sales goals.

    • Monitor KPIs prepare reports and present insights to the founding team to refine strategies.

  5. Special Projects:

    • Spearheaded initiatives to penetrate new markets optimize sales funnels or enhance Yocket s brand positioning in the MBA domain.



Requirements

Requirements

  • Graduate from a reputed institute preferably with a specialization in Sales Marketing or Business Development.

  • 2 years of experience in sales or business development ideally within edtech MBA admissions or related sectors.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for negotiations.

  • Analytical mindset and ability to work in a datadriven environment.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced startup ecosystem.

  • Willingness to embrace constant change and move fast.

  • Excitement to learn from failures and channel them into doing more.

  • A handson approach ready to get your hands dirty to solve problems.

  • Ability to learn super quickly and hustle relentlessly to achieve results.

Requirements: Excellent oral and written communication skills Be a good listener 1+ years of overseas education experience. Well-versed with counseling and processes for admissions for USA, UK, Canada, Australia, etc Willingness to learn and be humble Graduation/ Masters in Counselling or psychology will be an advantage
