Medical Officer
Location: Enugu
Salary Range: Minimum of N375000.00
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Officer to provide general medical care and patient management in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong medical background excellent problemsolving abilities and a passion for delivering highquality care. The role involves diagnosing treating and managing patients health conditions while collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general medical care and patient management including diagnosing treating and monitoring patients health conditions.
* Conduct medical assessments take patient histories and perform physical examinations.
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assist in making informed medical decisions.
* Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams including specialists to deliver comprehensive patient care.
* Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information in medical records.
* Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families.
* Participate in emergency medical care as needed.
* Stay updated on medical developments and apply evidencebased practices in patient care.
* Adhere to hospital protocols regulatory standards and best practices in medical care.
Qualifications/Experience:
* MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
* A current practicing medical license.
* NYSC discharge certificate or exemption.
* Previous experience in general medical practice is desirable but fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
Other Requirements:
* Excellent timemanagement and organizational skills.
* Outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare teams.
* Highly motivated team player with a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
* An interest in neurosurgery is desirable but not mandatory.
* Strong problemsolving and clinical decisionmaking skills.
