Job Title: Partnership Officer Agriculture Consultancy
Location: Nigeria

Position Overview: We are seeking an energetic and personable Partnership Officer to join our team. In this role you will be primarily responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with relevant organizations in the agriculture industry. You will leverage your proven track record in partnership development to foster collaborations that align with our mission. Additionally as a key team member in a small organization you will contribute meaningfully to other areas of our business embracing a cando attitude and a willingness to tackle diverse challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Development:
- Identify approach and secure partnerships with industry stakeholders NGOs government agencies educational institutions and private sector players.
- Maintain and nurture existing relationships to ensure longterm mutually beneficial collaborations.
- Represent the company at industry events conferences and meetings to establish and strengthen partnerships.
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to align partnership strategies with overall business objectives.
- Research and analyze potential partners to assess alignment value and opportunity for collaboration.
- Crossfunctional Contribution:
- Provide support across various business areas including marketing project management and client relations as needed.
- Work closely with other team members to share insights and coordinate efforts that leverage partnerships to create business value.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Develop and deliver presentations and proposals that effectively communicate partnership opportunities.
- Maintain detailed records of partnership interactions outcomes and future opportunities.
- Regularly report on partnership progress successes and challenges to the management team.
Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Agriculture Agribusiness Business Administration or a related field.Experience: Proven track record (minimum of 2 years) in building and maintaining partnerships within the agriculture industry.
Knowledge: Solid understanding of the agriculture sector including key players market trends and industry challenges.
Skills & Attributes:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Great personality with a positive cando attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a small team environment wearing multiple hats when necessary.
