POSITION: The position is a key role within Procurement and Supply Chain Management and will be
responsible for supporting members of the Legal Department and internal clients with contractual and
administrative duties requiring knowledge of legal forms terminology and contract administration;
performing a variety of legal contractual and administrative tasks including but not limited to
preparation review maintenance and filing of contracts and other legal documents; legal research;
management of corporate licenses and permits; other miscellaneous filings and other legal papers;
and providing guidance to business units for legal compliance for EPC.
The position will be based in Delhi and reports to Director Head Procurement and Supply Chain
Management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support contract review/drafting process including evaluation and negotiation of
contract/agreement terms with a particular emphasis on the negotiation of Framework
Agreements Master Agreements. Identify nonstandard contract terms and distribute to the
appropriate internal parties (legal/commercial/technical) for input regarding review/revision
or approval.
With oversight of counsel prepare and/or review contractual and confirmation documents
for EPC OM contracts interpret contractual terms and provide guidance to the functional
teams on legal and business risks.
Monitor the Planned EPC/OM Contracts Report and coordinate the timely execution.
Assemble and distribute the appropriate Contract annexures (Technical/Commercial) to
internal departments and external third parties. Solicit compile and evaluate comments for
resolution
Maintain company standard template agreements including but not limited to NDAs EPC
OM Framework Agreement and related transactional agreements/forms.
Maintain contract spreadsheets databases or other tracking software (SharePoint and
specified Project Management Tools) as applicable to effectively track and file contracts.
Facilitate the KickOff Process to ensure takeover of the executed contracts by Project
Management and Construction Team. Evaluate and recommend changes in existing
processes to improve the efficient operation of the contract management.
Respond to and offer solutions to contract inquiries initiating research and follow up as
appropriate. Draft routine and nonroutine correspondence in response to internal and
external inquiries or standard legal issues pertaining to contracts.
