Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the Site Coordinator for ESH Cranston ensuring compliance with National Voter Registration Act (NMVRA) of 1993.
  • Overall coordination of the patient Voting process including maintenance of records of all patients that are registered to vote assisting patients with completing mail ballot applications submission of mail ballot applications to the Board of Elections coordinates with and assists Board of Elections with onsite voting.
  • Social Work Department interdepartmental and community point of contact providing customer service and responding to inquiries.
  • Provides administrative support to the Social Work Department including maintaining and updating records of Staff Performance Evaluations data collection and metrics reported to the Performance Improvement Steering Committee and Utilization Review.
  • Oversees daily staffing and scheduling for the Social Work Department including maintaining receipt of sick calls time sheets requests for time off.
  • Collects maintains and reports monthly department stats to the Hospital Cost Unit.
  • Assists in auditing charts for compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Requisition and distribution of Social Work office supplies.
  • Completion and followup of Telecom IT and CERF requests for Social Work staff.
  • Updates Social Work assignment provides notification of discharge to other departments within the hospital.
  • Is responsible for shopping for patient personal needs.
  • Assist in patient activities.
  • Oversees delivery of patient mail.
  • Makes phone calls to patients and providers postdischarge as part of quality measure.
  • Creating meeting invites flyers calendars letters and memos.

This is an administrative position for the Social Work Dept at ESH. The candidate should have experience with data entry strong phone/customer service skills organizational skills and previous experience in clinical setting is preferred. Please see attached job description for more details.
