Job Description
- This position is responsible using a variety of hand and power tools fixtures work instructions to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble components and pallets for shipping of product.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions processes and procedures for components and pallets.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Build pallets to the specifications necessary for safely shipping product to the customers.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol
- Make sure that schedules are being ran exactly as they are listed
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
- Turn off equipment when not in use
- Attention to detail in a fastpaced environment
- Basic reading writing and arithmetic skills required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform the same task repeatedly
- Type amount and frequency of physical effort typically required to perform the essential functions of the job acceptably; including the work positions in which the effort is applied with or without a reasonable accommodation.
