Job Description
AHRC NYC is looking to immediately hire Full and PartTime DSPs for their DicksonGoodman ICF residence in Manhattan.
Pay Rate $18.54$18.90 per hour depending on driving status and shift. In addition this position comes with a very generous and comprehensive Benefit Package which includes Full Medical Insurance Paid by AHRC NYC at NO COST TO YOU! See additional Benefit information below.
Location:126 East 126th Street in Manhattan
Available shifts: Full Benefits come with both positions! 40HR. EVENING SHIFT 2pm10pm.....DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED 30HR. OVERNIGHT SHIFT 10pm 8am.....DRIVERS LICENSE NOT REQUIRED WEEKEND AVAILABILITY NEEDED FOR MOST POSITIONS.

- The oversight of all safety and health considerations
- Promoting skill development interests and hobbies
- Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs)
- Other personalized responsibilities including cooking cleaning hygiene etc.
Qualifications :
- Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
- Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a Must!
- Willingness to support peoples preferences for community activities work leisure activities the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
- Ability to use a computer for data entry.
- Driver license needed for day and evening positions NOT overnight positions.
- High school education/GED preferred.
