About the Opportunity:
Our client a rapidly growing and wellestablished firm in West Austin is seeking a Building Design Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated EIT or recently licensed PE with a passion for designing educational municipal and commercial buildings. Key Responsibilities:
- Design Expertise: Develop structural designs for commercial municipal and academic buildings using Revit.
- Site Inspections: Visit construction sites to ensure projects align with design plans and standards.
- Project Coordination: Communicate progress updates and collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Client Interaction: Engage with project owners to understand design requirements and provide excellent customer service.
- Team Collaboration: Attend meetings and support the licensed PE as needed to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of structural engineering experience in building design (e.g. commercial multifamily retail residential municipal).
- Licensure: EIT certification is required; a recent PE license is a strong plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit is highly preferred.
- Education: A bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required; a Masters degree is a plus.
- Personal Traits: Energetic dedicated and eager to grow with a talented team.

Candidates with experience limited to singlefamily residential design will not be considered.
