We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and build innovative solutions that support our engineering projects.
What Youll Do
Custom Software Development
- Develop inhouse tools and applications for project management scheduling and documentation.
- Build custom scripts and automation to streamline engineering workflows.
- Enhance existing engineering software integrations (AutoCAD Revit BIM tools).
Web & Application Development
- Maintain and improve MapleCrafts website and internal portals for employees and clients.
- Develop web applications for document control project tracking and client communication.
- Ensure a mobilefriendly and responsive interface for field engineers.
Data Management & Analytics
- Design databases and dashboards for project tracking material management and reporting.
- Implement AI/ML algorithms to optimize engineering processes and predict project outcomes.
- Analyze historical project data to improve decisionmaking and efficiency.
Cloud & IT Infrastructure Support
- Develop and maintain cloudbased storage and collaboration platforms.
- Automate cloud deployments and server management for internal tools.
- Implement secure APIs for thirdparty integrations.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Ensure data encryption security protocols and access controls for sensitive project data.
- Conduct regular security assessments to prevent cyber threats.
Support for Engineering & IoT Systems
- Work on sensor integration IoT monitoring and realtime data processing for construction projects.
- Develop simulation and modeling software to assist engineers with structural analysis.
What We are Looking For
Experience & Education:
- 1 year(s) of experience in Software Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field with proven experience maintaining production software in one or more of the following languages:
- C C C# Java JavaScript Go Ruby Rust Python
OR
- C C C# Java JavaScript Go Ruby Rust Python
- Associates Degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Math Physics or Computer Engineering
OR - Equivalent handson experience in software development.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with fullstack development (frontend & backend).
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Strong problemsolving skills with a keen eye for performance optimization.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
- Selfmotivated with a passion for learning and problemsolving.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
