Job Description
Job Title: Business Systems Analyst I
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our IT team specializing in video engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video operations and systems management and will act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for video engineering projects.
- System Design and Implementation: Work with IT and video engineering teams to design develop and implement system solutions that meet business needs.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within video engineering workflows and recommend solutions.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to interpret video performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system processes configurations and user guides.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in business systems analysis with a focus on IT and video engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in video engineering software data analysis tools and project management software. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Project Management: Experience managing projects from inception to completion with a track record of meeting deadlines and delivering highquality results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloudbased video processing and streaming technologies.
- Knowledge of video compression standards and codecs.
- Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management.
