Overview:
We are seeking an experienced accountant with a strong background in finance and healthcare. This role will support financial operations ensuring accurate recordkeeping efficient bookkeeping and assisting with financial strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and medical industry finance including payroll and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Handle daytoday accounting functions including accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll processing.
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records track expenses and monitor cash flow.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management review ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Tax Preparation: Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets for various departments; assist in longterm financial planning.
- Invoicing & Payments: Oversee client billing payments and ensure timely invoicing for services provided.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to all financial policies and regulations including healthcarerelated financial compliance standards.
- Strategic Support: Collaborate with management to assess financial health and provide recommendations for costsaving and revenueenhancing opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in accounting bookkeeping or finance with a preference for candidates with experience in the healthcare or medical industry.
- Education: A degree in Accounting Finance or a related field is preferred.

Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Xero or similar).
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and tax compliance particularly in the healthcare industry.
- Ability to manage multiple financial accounts and transactions.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Certifications: CPA or similar certifications are a plus.
- Preferred: Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and understanding of medical clinic finance operations.
