Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to manage and oversee all aspects of accounting of our client ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements. The Senior Financial Accountant will collaborate with various departments provide valuable financial insights and play a key role in financial reporting budgeting and forecasting. This position requires a high level of technical accounting expertise strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Prepare review and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations IFRS and company policies.
- Oversee the company s general ledger ensuring all accounting entries are accurate and properly recorded.
- Assist with financial planning budgeting forecasting and cash flow management.
- Lead the monthend and yearend close processes including preparing journal entries reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Manage and execute balance sheet reconciliations ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
- Provide technical accounting support and guidance to junior team members.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and manage VAT/GST filings including liaising with tax authorities.
- Support external audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support business decisionmaking and provide actionable financial insights.
- Assist in the implementation of new financial systems processes and controls to enhance operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the finance function.
- Stay updated on changes to accounting standards financial regulations and tax laws that may affect the company.
Requirements
Requirements/Skills needed:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (CPA CA or equivalent qualification preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting audit and commercial financial accounting preferably within a global publicly listed company.
- Indepth knowledge of IFRS financial reporting tax regulations and accounting principles.
- Proven experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP NetSuite or similar).
- Strong analytical and technical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills and work collaboratively with the ability to present financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Experience with external audits financial reporting and compliance requirements.
- Strong problemsolving skills with a proactive and solutionoriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Additional Job Details:
Setup and Location: Ortigas Pasig (Hybrid)
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEST) 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (PH Time)
Employment Type: Fulltime
