Schedule: 12 pm 4 pm EST (1:00 AM to 5:00 AM PHT) Monday Friday inclusive of 30min unpaid break
We re looking for a skilled marketing copy editor with extensive knowledge of AP Style proper source citation and factchecking as well as an eagle eye for grammar punctuation and syntax. The ideal candidate will merge expertise in editing marketing and optimization to deliver engaging accurate and impactful content.
This position requires the marketing copy editor to review and refine a variety of marketing materials including investigation landing pages newsletters marketing emails social media copy and other marketing assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Editing: Edit and refine marketing copy for clarity grammar tone and alignment with brand standards.
- FactChecking & Accuracy: Ensure all marketing materials meet high editorial standards and integrate proper source citations.
- SEO Optimization: Enhance content for search engine visibility using keywords and internal linking strategies.
- Collaboration: Work with crossfunctional teams including our head of digital strategy marketing manager social media manager project manager sales and others to align content with marketing goals and messaging.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Journalism English Communications Marketing or related fields.
- 3 years of experience in editing copy editing or similar roles within a marketing or digital environment.
- Mastery of AP Style and exceptional editing skills for accuracy clarity and tone.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and tools for content optimization.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and digital publishing tools.
- Ability to thrive in fastpaced environments managing multiple deadlines.
- Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking skills.
- Ability to complete an editing test before employment is offered.
