Monitor and evaluate production operations to ensure adherence to quality standards and production targets
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce cost
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including R&D engineering and maintenance to optimize production processes
Manage and coordinate production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
Develop and maintain production documentation including standard operating procedures work instructions and quality control records
Lead and train production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
Implement and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime
Participate in equipment selection installation and validation processes
Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of raw materials and equipment
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
At least 5 years experience in production engineering or a similar role in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of production processes quality systems and safety regulations
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
