Job Description
Experience : 6 Years
The Finance Director for the Global Capability Center in Pune will be responsible for establishing and managing all financial operations within this newly created center. This role involves setting up and overseeing the financial reporting systems ensuring compliance with local regulations and closely collaborating with the US finance team and senior management to align with global standards. This role requires close collaboration with auditors and the US finance team to work on the consolidation of finances setting up reporting structures and implementing systems that align closely with US finance team requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup and management of financial operations including the implementation of software and reporting systems for the GCC ensuring alignment with global standards.
- Oversee budgeting forecasting accounting and financial reporting ensuring alignment with global standards.
- Lead the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts for the GCC ensuring alignment with global financial goals.
- Collaborate with the US finance team to consolidate financial data and set up reporting structures that meet US requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the US office including monthly financial statements management reports on purchases inventory and cash flow and others.
- Develop and implement robust financial processes and controls that support the GCCs growth and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations tax laws and reporting requirements.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure the GCCs financial health and stability.
- Coordinate and manage internal and statutory auditors ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies while addressing auditrelated issues.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the GCC General Manager to support key business decisions.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts providing regular updates to leadership.
- Manage monthly cash flow planning and fund requirements to ensure financial stability.
- Interpret financial information to recommend actions and support decisionmaking.
- Efficiently create presentations in Excel and PowerPoint for monthly financials providing insights to management and investors.
- Stay updated on Indian financial regulations economic trends and market conditions leveraging this knowledge to inform financial strategy and support the GCCs objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 6 years of experience in finance management preferably within a global or multinational organization.
- Extensive experience in the Indian financial market with a strong understanding of local regulations tax laws and financial reporting requirements.
- Proven track record of setting up financial operations and reporting systems from scratch.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with global and local stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems with a strong understanding of datadriven financial practices.
- Strategic thinking and problemsolving skills with the ability to provide actionable financial insights.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance.
- Strong communication skills.
