Job Description
Qualifications / Experience

Should be a qualified CA
-
Minimum of 12 years experience with at least 6 years in the BFSI industry

Leadership experience including the ability to set direction manage and motivate people and work collaboratively with other functions
Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the CEO / senior management the person will be responsible for leading the Finance and Accounts function ensuring the accurate financial reporting in compliance with regulatory norms and implementing and maintaining a robust internal control system

Financial Reporting and Budgeting

Ensure accurate financial reporting and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards

Conduct a robust annual budgeting exercise working with cross functional heads to

Monitor variances from budget and implement corrective actions if necessary

Analyse key performance metrics and provide insights to support decision making and improve key metrics

Compliance

Stay uptodate with updated accounting standards and rules notified by RBI and other regulators from time to time

Ensure financial reporting is in line with updated regulations at all times

Audit

Coordinate and manage audits including statutory internal and tax audits ensuring timely and accurate information sharing

Address audit findings and implement actions to enhance financial controls

Treasury and Cash Management

Interact closely with lenders and other financial institutions to optimize balance sheet yield and ensure availability of funds as needed

Investor Relations

Maintain relationships with investors and ensure transparent sharing of information in the form of regular MIS reports
