Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans (shortterm goals and longterm roadmaps).
- Align strategic objectives with research and innovation priorities.
- Point of contact for internal/external stakeholders (including research institutes government agencies collaborators and industry partners).
- Foster strong relationships to ensure effective collaboration and partnership.
- Coordination and management of multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with the strategic objectives.
- Implement strategic plans that ensure the initiative stays on track with its goals timelines and resource utilization.
- Risk management.
- Delivery of key milestones.
- Spot opportunities to incorporate advanced technologies (lab automation AI data & computing).
- Align with global trends to ensure relevance in scientific discoveries.
- Budgetary planning.
- Ensure financial resources are used effectively to support initiative goals.
- Collaborate with finance teams to monitor and adjust financial planning.
- Implement organizational change as part of the digital transformation particularly in advancing lab automation and data integration.
- Provide support to tasks/assignments on an asneeded basis ensuring timely execution of all ongoing initiatives and projects.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Science Engineering Technology Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in a research or technology environment.
- Experience in strategic planning stakeholder management or programme leadership is advantageous.
- Track record in leading complex multistakeholder projects with an emphasis on research innovation and digital transformation.
- Sound understanding of lab automation AI data and computing technologies within a research context.
- Superb leadership communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
