Job Description
Costing Executive with a background in ecommerce to join our Costing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Costing Management Information Systems (MIS) Variance Analysis and Budgeting with a deep understanding of the ecommerce sectors financial and operational aspects. This role will be critical in ensuring accurate cost analysis and supporting decisionmaking across the organization.
- Conduct detailed costing analysis including product costing standard costing and margin analysis.
- Prepare and maintain the MIS reports offering insights into cost structures budgets and variances.
- Perform variance analysis to identify cost drivers highlight key deviations and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing monitoring and managing budgets ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to track and optimize costs related to supply chain logistics and production.
- Support monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting and auditing requirements.
- Provide insights into pricing strategies costsaving initiatives and profitability improvements.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends particularly those affecting the ecommerce sectors cost structures and budgeting practices.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Commerce or a related field.
- 2 3 years of experience in costing MIS variance analysis and budgeting within an ecommerce company.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a detailoriented approach.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel skills.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and a proactive mindset toward cost management.
- Understanding of ecommerce industry dynamics including supply chain and logistics costs.
