DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST REMOTE POSITION

We manage over 4000 beds and over $500MM in assets across Canada and have one of the largest student housing portfolios in the country. Our specialties include student housing multiresidential properties asset stabilization and development. This position reports to the Senior Management.

As a member of our team you will:

  • Plan digital marketing campaigns including web SEO/SEM social media email and display advertising
  • Develop social media marketing campaigns aimed at renting apartments to students and regular renters as well as building an online community for existing residents
  • Experiment with various organic and paid traffic generation methods including influencer partnerships payperclick campaigns and lead generation campaigns while reporting on performance
  • Create coordinate and maintain a presence on WeChat to reach international student renters
  • Coordinate influencer partnerships including finding and connecting with suitable influencers negotiations and execution of agreements
  • Work with onsite employees to generate content for social media channels
  • Leverage AIdriven video creation tools and platforms to produce engaging and innovative video content
  • Use social media marketing tools to enhance and maintain the company’s brands
  • Research social media trends and tailor content accordingly
  • Interact with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and provide suggestions for improvement
  • Identify trends and insights to optimize spending and performance
  • Optimize Google Analytics
  • Work closely with the leasing team to create and post ads on thirdparty listing sites on a set schedule
  • When needed coordinate new website construction from start to finish including concept design content and full execution
  • Create and design blogs newsletters and any materials used for social media resident relations and website platforms
  • Coordinate with freelance graphic designers when needed
  • Update and maintain existing websites
  • Manage and update the Shopify platform for international student rentals across multiple brands ensuring branding consistency with other marketing channels
  • Work closely with the leasing team to ensure marketing campaigns translate into successful rental numbers on an ongoing basis
  • Perform any other marketingrelated tasks as needed

What are we looking for

  • Completion of a postsecondary educational program or certificate in digital marketing or a related field
  • 2 years of experience working with engaging on and creating content for social media platforms including Facebook Instagram LinkedIn and TikTok
  • 2 years of experience in setting up and optimizing Google Ads campaigns
  • Experience with or aptitude to learn AI video creation tools and platforms
  • Experience overseeing new website creation
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics)
  • Creative with an eye for aesthetics
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • A selfstarter who requires minimal supervision—we focus on results and are not looking to micromanage!
  • Proficient in Google Suite
  • Experience with Shopify is an asset but not a requirement (willing and able to learn quickly)
  • A passion for people and a desire to find new ways to achieve goals

This is a fulltime position (40 hours per week) scheduled MondayFriday between 9 AM and 8 PM EST (offering some flexibility in start and finish times).
