Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and analytical Director of Finance to join our dynamic team in Nairobi Kenya. As a key member of our executive leadership you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and driving our organizations growth.
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to support the companys shortterm and longterm objectives
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes providing financial insights to guide strategic decisionmaking
- Oversee all financial operations including accounting treasury tax and financial reporting functions
- Analyze financial data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations tax laws and reporting standards
- Manage relationships with banks investors auditors and other financial stakeholders
- Implement and maintain robust financial systems and controls to safeguard company assets
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with other department heads to align financial objectives with overall business goals
- Present financial reports and recommendations to the board of directors and senior management
Qualifications :
- Proven track record with 810 years of experience as a Director of Finance or in a similar senior financial leadership role
- Indepth knowledge of corporate finance accounting principles and best practices with a focus on international operations
- Strong understanding of Kenyan financial regulations tax laws and reporting requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis forecasting and strategic planning
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and advanced financial management software
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and mentor a diverse finance team
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities capable of effectively collaborating with stakeholders at all levels
- Analytical mindset with a strategic approach to problemsolving and decisionmaking
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field; MBA or Masters degree preferred
- Fluency in English or other local languages is a plus
