We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Representative to join our team. Afamilyowned company known for its supportive and approachable leadership is expanding its sales team to meet growing market demand and refine its territory strategy. This role is ideal for a driven individual with a track record in sales ideally in building materials to enhance our presence in Washington.
Responsibilities
- Sales Growth: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the designated territory.
- Client Relationship Management: Foster strong longterm connections with clients.
- Industry Expertise: Gain and maintain an indepth understanding of glass and building materials staying current on industry trends to support clients effectively.
- Revenue Objectives: Focus on driving consistent sales growth through targeted strategies and lead generation.
- Performance Reporting: Track sales activities and client insights providing regular updates to senior management.
Key Sales Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years in business development or sales ideally within building materials (e.g. glass granite).
- Skill Set: Excellent negotiation and communication abilities; capable of working independently and within a team.
- Additional Assets: Golf skills can be beneficial for networking in the industry.
- Education: Degree or certification in business sales or a related area is preferred.
