Job Description
This is a Hybrid role in Pasadena Los Angeles CA.
Onsite 2 days a week at Pasadena LA
Long term Contract
Experience & skills needed:
- 8 years of handson experience with PostgreSQL database administration and development.
- 2 years of experience with AWS
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL internals including storage engines query optimization and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in SQL PL/pgSQL and other relevant scripting languages.
- Experience with AWS services (RDS Aurora EC2 S3 etc.) and cloudbased database management.
- Solid understanding of database security best practices and threat modeling.
- Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning tools.
- Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PostgreSQL extensions and advanced features.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.
- Experience with data replication and high availability solutions.
- Certifications in PostgreSQL or AWS.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field.
