Job Function/Purpose:
The Service Solutions Consultant role is focused on organizing and expanding service and software maintenance sales for the service department. The primary responsibilities of this position involve supporting our clients through proactive engagements ensuring servicerelated needs are being addressed and working to create longterm maintenance packages for new and existing clients. The role also carries a focus toward maximizing company profits within a designated geographic area by selling to current and new clients. Other responsibilities include collaborating with the service and operations teams and may require coordinating thirdparty contractors or consultants to implement solutions as planned. The salary range for this position is $75000 $95000 commensurate on relevant experience.
Key Accountabilities:
- Selling to new and existing customers within the west territory.
- Creating and executing a service sales plan that meets or exceeds set sales targets.
- Optimizing and maximizing time and overall efficiency.
- Ongoing contact with customers in the west sales territory to continuously understand their evolving needs.
- Educating customers on the companys entire line card offering.
- Expanding customer understanding and use of company product and service capabilities.
- Identifying and pursuing new customer acquisition opportunities in the west sales territory.
- Conducting cold calls to acquire new servicerelated business.
- Building longterm productive and mutually beneficial relationships with new customers.
- Championing companys value proposition in the west sales territory and brand within the local community.
- Being regularly available and responsive to customers realtime needs.
- Identifying and executing local marketing activities to enhance local presence and grow sales.
- Assist with and organize current/active service agreements for the company.
- Follow all processes and procedures in accordance with the company standards to ensure that a quality product is maintained and delivered within the predetermined time and cost.
- Be the forerunner in assuring customer satisfaction by exceeding customers expectations.
- Work with service and precon to prepare requests for proposals and conduct all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of services and products.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing managed services proposals and estimates.
Communication:
- Effectively communicate relevant service and projectrelated information to the company or customer in a timely manner.
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Assist in conducting quarterly reviews with customers to assess overall service needs calls and response times.
- Serve as a point of contact for all managed services customers.
Job Qualifications:
Skills
- Experience with service and system integration solutions.
- Familiarity with Nurse Call Security and AV solutions.
- Willingness to interface with customers as well as internal team members.
- Experience with enterprise software/hardware solutions and workflow for large complex healthcare and commercial organizations.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Experience in all aspects of supplier relationship management.
- Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.
- Ability to drive lead generation through marketing and sales tactics.
- Understanding of CRM tools is desired.
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
- Strong ability to present in front of a group and conduct negotiations with new and existing clients.
- Continually develop and upgrade a diverse skills portfolio with a focus on technical sales and business operations.
Education/Experience:
- College degree desired or equivalent sales experience.
- On the job experience and training may substitute as equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales position.
Work Environment:
- Work environment be an office client facilities networking functions and trade shows.
Essential Functions:
- Requires prolonged sitting standing some bending stooping and stretching. Requires manual dexterity and eyehand coordination for data input.
- Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Must maintain a valid drivers license.
- Must maintain a clear background check to satisfy customer jobsite badging requirements.
- Must be willing to submit to all vaccinations and screening tests required for customer jobsite badging protocol.
- Maintain a clear drug and alcohol screening protocol.
- 2030% travel requirement as needed.
