Position Overview
Nebulon Dynamics is seeking a seasoned Director of Engineering to drive our engineering vision and guide our teams towards strategic innovation and operational excellence. This is a leadership role focused on overseeing our engineering teams managing budgets and developing effective strategies that align with our companys growth objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise handson leadership and forwardthinking strategy to support Nebulons mission.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead mentor and manage engineering teams fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and accountability.
Oversee the recruitment hiring and training of engineering talent ensuring the teams skills align with Nebulons goals and future projects.
Provide technical guidance and career development support creating a growthoriented environment where engineers can thrive.
Performance & Systems Management:
Monitor and enhance the performance and reliability of all internal systems ensuring scalability security and optimal functionality.
Set clear goals and KPIs for engineering teams continuously evaluating team performance to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Implement best practices and modern engineering methods to improve productivity code quality and operational efficiency.
Strategic Planning & Project Oversight:
Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Manufacturing to establish longterm engineering and operational goals.
Plan and oversee current and future software development projects managing objectives timelines and resource allocations.
Develop strategies for integrating innovative technologies that enhance Nebulons offerings and competitive edge in the industry.
Budget & Resource Management:
Manage the engineering departments budget including forecasting allocation and cost management to support both immediate needs and future growth.
Evaluate manpower requirements ensuring resources are optimally utilized and aligned with Nebulons goals.
Find and implement ways to improve costefficiency without compromising quality or team performance.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure engineering practices and product development comply with relevant industry standards security laws and regulations.
Govern policies for internal systems and equipment usage keeping risk management and data protection at the forefront.
Establish protocols for quality control risk assessment and incident response to maintain robust and compliant systems.
External Collaboration & Technology Integration:
Work closely with external stakeholders and partners on the adoption and integration of new tools platforms and technologies.
Act as the main liaison with thirdparty vendors assessing and negotiating terms to support Nebulons strategic initiatives.
Represent Nebulons engineering vision and capabilities in client and partner discussions promoting collaboration on shared goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Masters degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
5 years of experience in engineering management with a proven record of leading highperforming teams in a remote or distributed environment.
Strong understanding of cloud technologies software architecture and handson experience in both backend and frontend development.
Technical Expertise:
Comprehensive knowledge of cloud platforms application development and system architecture.
Familiarity with modern development frameworks security practices and DevOps principles.
Leadership & Strategic Abilities:
Strong managerial skills with experience setting clear objectives coaching teams and driving accountability.
Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate industry trends and steer Nebulons engineering vision accordingly.
Excellent project management skills with experience overseeing complex projects from concept through execution.
Communication & Collaboration:
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to diverse audiences including executive leadership and external partners.
Collaborative approach fostering strong crossfunctional relationships with teams across Nebulon Dynamics.
