Requirements:
- Must be a CPA
- At least 7 years of working experience as an Accounting Manager Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager handling at least 5 FTEs in the BPO/Shared Services Industry
- Strong knowledge of PFRS/IFRS and US GAAP Accounting
- Experience in ERP/Accounting software like PeopleSoft and Oracle
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
- Strong ability to maintain government relationships
- Can start immediately
Job Responsibilities:
- This finance person is required at the location to oversee the finance functions for the Manila entity. Areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to managing the monthend close and forecast processes providing narratives around the variances of financial data managing all the tax requirements and completing the filings with the local government authorities (e.g. BIR SEC PEZA etc.) and completing the annual audit process while working with the external local auditors.
- Assist and keep track of pending assessments and litigation under BIR PEZA
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods policies and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- To assist in periodical reporting to the Group Tax department
- Lead coach and mentor the finance team ensuring continuous professional development and fostering a culture of excellence
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback helping team members achieve their goals
- Ensure efficient use of resources and alignment with organizational goals
